Some projects demand more than execution. They require trust.
CapStar Electric has been selected to lead the electrical work for the new Panhandle State Hospital in Amarillo. The facility will span 162,230 square feet across three floors and will provide 75 inpatient beds dedicated to mental health treatment.
This is a state-funded healthcare project built from the ground up, with spaces that include treatment areas, patient rooms, offices, and specialized systems that support continuous, safe operation. CapStar’s role includes power distribution, lighting, life safety systems, and the infrastructure needed to keep a facility like this running day and night.
Healthcare construction moves differently. The margin for error is slim. Coordination matters. And deadlines are often tied to more than just schedules—they’re tied to community needs. CapStar brings the experience, structure, and reliability to deliver in that kind of environment.
With work underway in Amarilla, CapStar is proud to support a project that will serve Texas
communities for decades to come.
