CapStar Electric has been awarded the electrical scope for Capital Metro’s new North Base Demand Response & Centralized Warehouse project in Austin. Spread across a 25-acre site, the development brings several critical transit functions together in one location. The project includes a three-story, 49,875-square-foot administration building supporting CapMetro’s demand response services, a 42,572-square-foot vehicle maintenance facility, a 20,626-square-foot central warehouse, vehicle wash bays, and supporting site infrastructure.
For CapStar, that means delivering electrical infrastructure across a wide range of environments, from offices and operational spaces to fleet maintenance, warehousing, vehicle support, and the surrounding site. It’s the kind of project where the individual pieces have to work as one system, supporting the people, vehicles, and day to-day operations that help keep Austin’s transit network moving.
